Floral Oil Painting on canvas board

A simple alla prima oil painting sketch of a vase of roses. I painted these roses from life that were in my studio. I experimented with a composition that meant the roses left the edge of the canvas to draw your eye into the flowers. Bold brush strokes were used to keep an abstract nature in the painting.
