Botanical Sketch in Oil on Paper

This painting is an ode to those beautiful many shades of green- my favourite colour. Many times it is the flowers that are the focus and the greenery as a 'filler', but I wanted to reverse that role in this painting. Leaves and greenery are just as beautiful and I wanted to make the stunning greens the focus in this sketch.
