Countryside Oil Sketch

I painted this outside from the views in my back garden. The horses were difficult to capture because they kept moving so it was an intersting challenge. I am enjoying plein air painting more and more, and this is the direction I would like to take my work in future. Because it was a quick sketch there are parts that some would describe as 'unfinished' but I feel like it adds to the charm.
