Textured Landscape Oil Painting 16x16" on deep edge canvas (varnished)

This piece was fun to create! I used a ruch, prussian blue to create this dark, stunning background, and layered into it with the highlights. The brush strokes are the most captivating thing about this painting, which is why it remains as one of my favourites. I grew up in the countryside, and views like this were what I remember seeing. I tried to keep an abstract quality to the painting so that the viewer can interpret it however feels natural to them. I think this would bring an enchanting, dramatic pop of colour to your space.
