Forest Painting On Canvas Board

Forests are my favourite places on Earth. In this painting I aimed for the trees to feel enveloping, like you are surrounded and supported by the life of nature. The lighter area at the top shows where the sun is beaming through the leaves. I used a palette knife to add lots of abstract marks and texture.
