This little painting was inspired by our family trips to Newquay — where the waves just keep rolling in, full of energy and rhythm. There’s something about the Cornish sea that feels both wild and soothing, like it’s washing away anything you need to let go of. I used a palette knife to build up texture in the waves, creating a sense of movement you can almost hear. It’s a small but powerful reminder of the sea’s constant renewing.
