Along my painting journey I have become fascinated with simplicity. I am striving to say the most with the least. In this painting I wanted to keep my paint strokes loose & abstract. These simple marks complement the soft femininity of roses.

I also love to play with the light through strong contrasts and this was especially fun with the glass jar.
