Hydrangea Oil Painting Abstract Art 'Smiling & Light' 12x16" Canvas

My favourite painting in my hydrangea series. I love how magical hydrangea feels, like there are thousands of butterflies that could fly away at any minute. I used thick impasto oil paint applied with a palette knife & bold brush strokes to create really beautiful texture. I wanted this piece to be more about a 'feeling' than what you physically see. I felt very connected to nature whilst painting this piece and let my creative energy take over.
