This soft, ethereal painting is inspired by the quiet beauty of white petals — how they hold so many colours within them when you really look. I was fascinated by the way light moves through the layers, creating gentle shifts in tone, texture, and emotion. Using glazing, scratching, and translucent layers of acrylic, I built up depth slowly and intuitively — letting each layer guide the next. There are tiny moments of colour magic hidden throughout this piece… the kind that catch your eye differently each time you pass by. I still fall in love with them when I look at it.
